Thanks for the read! Another benefit of Creatine I was not aware of.

What do you have against figure captions?

But youre talking about a study with rats. Is there any evidence in humans?

For this particular outcome... no. But there is an interesting study in humans that provided creatine prior to sleep deprivation and observed some interesting effects on cognitive function!

Fascinating! Well worth the read.

Thanks for this clear piece! Beyond muscle performance, creatine is increasingly showing broader effects on brain energy and stress resilience, especially during high cognitive or metabolic load. A fascinating area that deserves more attention!

Super great take on this Brady! Dr. Candow will be coming to Austin in March btw. I'm trying to get him to consider synergistic additions to Creatine such as Nicotinamide Riboside in his studies. My observation of one suggests some positives beyond just Creatine. Thoughts?

Exploring the synergy is very interesting but I’m not sure I could speculate which compounds might be best. What’s he visiting for? I’ll try to schedule a meet up or maybe even a podcast!
