At a certain point you should clear the infection, and unless there is a DNA modification in viable human cells which persists and is producing more of the offending proteins which then creates a chronic condition. Some people are recommending nattokinase for treatment of long COVID, but I’ve yet to see any data in efficacy or its mechanism in this context.
